Christmas is upon us. Each year during this time, I smile when I pull out one of my favorite Christmas decorations I bought at a holiday market years ago. It’s a small sign that reads, “Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love.” For me, Christmas is a time I cherish with my family: playing cars and trucks and loving on my two-year-old nephew; engaging in long conversations with my 87-year-old Grandmother without worrying how much time has gone by; being a Daddy’s girl; and acting like a kid around my younger brother while Mama takes our picture in the very old Santa hats that she has somehow kept intact from our childhood years.
